Set in the heart of the Peak District National Park on the banks of the River Derwent, The Plough dates back to the 16th century and has been welcoming tourists and locals ever since.

This family-owned traditional pub with a restaurant and stylish rooms, is great place from which to explore the UK’s first National Park and we’re just a short drive from Chatsworth and Haddon Hall. We are also very lucky to be a short walk from David Mellor’s award-winning visitor centre.

Our dedicted team of talented chefs take great pride in the seasonal menus they produce. All our food is cooked fresh and to order, which is served as soon as it is ready.
